choa is a village in district gujrat
in pakistan,is surrounded by beautiful mountains,choa means digging sand
for water, nearly three century a go my great great grand father(mohammed
aziz) and his brother called (mohammed faze) come to live in this beautiful
place,canal upper jhelum is west of village choa and to east is jungle
(pubbi) one mile to north is Gt road, also choa kariala railway station
!
dinga road ! how we found and built
nearly three century old road ?
I went to pakistan from uk in 1976
found that people of choa and surrounding area needed road to travel to
sari alamgir city also link to Gt road ! problem was that not every land
owner wanted to give his land to
build road!
(1) who was god sent angel?
It was no other than major in pakistan
army(sakhi mohammed mahroom) he said while in army one day
looking at very old maps he saw
on a map nearly three century old road the name of (dinga road) run
through village choa, it was built
by mogul empire long time a ago !
